Charles D. "Togie" Flowers, President I have been in the Seniors Estate and Financial Planning Services since 1959 after serving in the US Navy and graduating from the University of North Texas. I have also served on boards of several large companies and banks. I
have been Principal Owner and Chairman of the Board of two life insurance companies which were licensed in 40 states and employed over 150 people. I am a member of the North Texas
Estate Planning Council and the Dallas Estate Planning Council. I am also a member of the Episcopal Church, and have served on the board for the Center for Pastoral Care and Family Counseling, a
fee-scale counseling center for the underprivileged. I am married with two daughters, a son, a granddaughter, and five grandsons. My philosophy is simple:
- To treat our clients with the greatest courtesy and respect.
- To be honest with our clients and explain what their estate plan options are, because I feel it is important that people be educated about all of their options and then be allowed
to make a decision that is right for them.
- There are no "right" answers for everyone, but, when it comes to estate planning, everyone does need to make some decisions.
- Our job as estate planners is to help each family we work with make the best decision for themselves and their families.
Most Americans have worked a lifetime to build a
financially secure estate for their family and heirs. Depending upon personal need, estate planning can be essential without regard to income or net worth. Without a plan for the
future, you could leave your loved ones with unexpected legal problems and estate settlement delays. In addition, your estate could be needlessly taxed. Through the
preparation of a funded estate planning package, your family can avoid costly attorney's fees, court costs and reduce or eliminate possible federal estate taxes, minimize stress
and keep your personal affairs completely private.
I know of no greater gift one spouse can give the other or parent can give their children than a complete Estate Plan. |
